The Montblanc Writers Edition Sir Arthur Conan Doyle Limited Edition is dedicated to one of the most renowned crime novelists and creator of the famous consulting detective Sherlock Holmes.
The Limited Edition 8 is inspired by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle’s time on the S.S. Hope, a whaling ship, in the arctic. The writing instrument is made from Solid Au 750 / 18 K white gold in a 3D effect to reflect the structure of icebergs. Various shades of blue lacquer surround the icebergs, creating an image of the Arctic Sea. The clip comes in the shape of a magnifying glass and boasts a red lacquered “ACD” logo. Hidden behind the logo lies a movable magnifying glass. The top of the clip is adorned with a single sapphire. The Montblanc Emblem, in precious diamond pavé surrounded by Au 750 / 18 K solid white gold, crowns the cap of this edition. The bi-color nib in Au 750 / 18 K solid white gold shows the face of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle with a ship’s mast.
