The interplay of the multiple layers of inlays in black lacquer symbolizes the complex relationships between the characters in Mann’s masterpiece “Buddenbrooks”. The rhodium-coated Au 750 solid gold nib is finished with a filigree engraving of the Buddenbrooks House – in memory of Mann’s birthplace in Lübeck. The set contains a fountain pen, ballpoint pen and mechanical pencil.
