The dragon design inspired by the opera "Turandot" by Puccini; the aria " Nessun Dorma" became Pavarotti´s signature aria. Cap ring with ornaments from the opera house of Modena and signature of Luciano Pavarotti. The blue cap and barrel remind of the nightly setting of the aria " Nessun Dorma" decorated with floral ornaments from the far east. 5 lines on forepart referring to the 5 circles of the famous "Teatro Comunale Luciano Pavarotti" opera house of Modena. The nib is engraved with his portrait. Limited to 9 pieces in reference to the run of 9 high C´s of Donzetti´s "Fille du Regiment" in the Metropolitan Opera. The aria "Pour mon ame" calls nine high C´s in row.
