In this edition limited to 18 pieces, white gold 750/1000 (18 karats) and dark blue aventurine underline the exquisite craftsmanship of the in-house developed and manufactured caliber MB 29.24, which features Montblanc’s patented Exo Tourbillon and a quick stop-seconds mechanism. The pristine elegance of the central two-hand time indication upon the floral Arabic numerals contrasts with the mechanical masterpiece of the Exo Tourbillon complication situated at 6 o’clock. In two-tone elegance, the exterior of the dial is crafted from dark blue aventurine, reminiscent of a gleaming night sky, while the center is concentrically paved with 144 brillant-cut diamonds (approx. 0.53 carat). A glimpse through the sapphire glass case back reveals still more exquisite craftsmanship: the movement’s micro rotor is decorated with a “Côtes de Genève” finish with its characteristic fan-shape stripes. Designed to suit delicate wrists with its very slim 38 mm size, the case made of white gold 750/1000 (18 karats) is topped by a bezel set with 58 brillant-cut diamonds (approx. 1.39 carat). A Montblanc-cut diamond (approx. 0.11 carat) adorns the crown at 3 o’clock, while another brillant-cut diamond (approx. 0.01 carat) embellishes the 750/1000 (18 karats) white gold pin buckle. For utmost reliability and performance, the timepiece has been rigorously tested by the Montblanc Laboratory Test 500.
