The Montblanc 1858 product line is inspired by the legendary professional Minerva watches from the 1920s and 1930s, which were conceived for military use and exploration. Reinterpreting these historical timepieces, the Montblanc 1858 product line expresses the spirit of mountain exploration, embodying the modern trend of returning to nature. The Montblanc 1858 Automatic Chronograph Kawa Karpo comes with a red aesthetic combined with a bi-directional steel bezel that has been enhanced with shiny black ceramic and the four engraved luminescent cardinal points. The 42 mm stainless steel case features both polished and satin finishes and has been engraved with the “Mount Kawa Karpo”. For legibility and design, the smoked red shiny dial contrasts with historical beige luminescent cathedral-shaped hands and beige luminescent Arabic numerals. The timepiece is completed with a red sfumato calf leather strap with beige stitching.
