In 2021, Montblanc pays tribute to the visionary Enzo Ferrari: both motor racing driver and entrepreneur, he founded the legendary Scuderia Ferrari and established a global automotive empire whose name has become synonymous with superb quality and a passion for speed.
Made from metal and designed to appear like the structure of a “Ferrari 125 S” engine, this writing instrument pays homage to the meticulous construction skills of the Ferrari workshops. The cap top is crowned with a Montblanc emblem in resin resembling frosted glass and embedded in a metal grid. The prancing horse, the famous emblem of Ferrari cars, is depicted on the back of the cap. The metal clip is adorned with a famous quote by Enzo: “You cannot describe passion, you can only live it.” The fittings are refined with red lacquer – inspired by the intense red of the first “Ferrari 125 S” car. The cone shows two important dates in the career of Enzo Ferrari. The handcrafted Au 750 / 18K solid gold nib is engraved with the image of “Ferrari 250 GTO” steering wheel and a nickname given to Enzo Ferrari - “Il Commendatore”.
