As a tribute to the age in which she lived, the Au 750 solid gold nib is decorated by a delicate engraving typical of the rococo style. Edition 888 pays a special tribute to the Marquise de Pompadour: both the cap of this fine pen, which is lovingly decorated with a hand-painted motif of the Marquise, and the barrel, which is also hand-painted with a delicate pattern of flowers, are made of Meissen porcelain. All mountings in this Limited Edition are made of 750 solid gold.
