The design of the Limited Edition Thomas Mann takes its inspiration from the era of Art Deco – the period during which Mann was writing his extraordinary works. The interplay of the multiple layers of inlays in black lacquer symbolises the complex relationships between the characters in Mann’s masterpiece “Buddenbrooks”. The rhodium-coated Au 750 solid gold nib is finished with a filigree engraving of the Buddenbrooks House – in memory of Mann’s birthplace in Lübeck. The set contains a fountain pen, ballpoint pen and mechanical pencil.
