The Grand Chronographe Régulateur blends the traditional elements of haute horlogerie with innovative functions in a vibrant new design. It was inspired by the regulator clocks of the past, which were found in the workshops of many watch manufacturers and were used to adjust timepieces to a high level of precision. One of the striking features is its regulator-type dial. Apart from a large centre minute hand, it has a small hour dial at 12 o’clock with two separate hour hands that show the time in two zones simultaneously. This function is directly connected to a day/night indicator for the home-time zone. The watch also boasts a genuine watchmaking innovation in the form of a combined power reserve/winding zone indicator, a function that has been registered for patent.
